Founded in 1992, The Wilson Society recognizes contributors who make annual, leadership gifts of $1,000 or more annually to The Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. Unless otherwise specified, funds from the Wilson Society are directed where the need is greatest, helping maintain the high standards of liberal arts education at Northwestern.

In addition to receiving the biannual publication Crosscurrents, all members of The Wilson Society receive invitations to alumni gatherings, lectures on campus, book club events, and annual programs at the Chicago Club and Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art.
